I'm interested in getting a 10280 Eiger for my keys, and wanted to know if there are any pictures comparing the size difference between the large optic and small optic options.

Does the large optic throw farther compared to the small optic?

Any insight would be appreciated, thanks

Sorry for the confusion:

small - standard eiger optic
large - standard logan optic (aka Ultra)

In practice, the large optic acts like a turbo head, enhancing throw by adding a head of larger diameter than the rest of the body. The effect is pretty sweet on the smaller bodies, both in terms of looks and performance. I'm expanding the Peak pages and (will be) adding photography to make everything clear.

Bumping this up with some questions before I make a decision.

Does the plunger momentary switch fit the short key lug body?

Also, is there a glass lens protecting the optic?

I apologize for the noob questions but I have never owned a Peak light before:eek:

The momentary switch does not fit the short key lug body. Only the long keychain body.
Peaks are very solid.

Hi Yoyoman.

Sorry to resurrect an old thread, but would you happen to remember where you bought the shackle which you show mounted on your short Eiger battery tube in the photo above?

Thanks!

Berkeley Point has some really cool hardware. I haven't bought from them since I moved to Switzerland. Check their website and email them to see if they have other items.

Edit: There are some other sources now. Try google.

Thank you - I have been looking everywhere, but no-one seems to carry them that small...
