I've poured over the internet to include reading pages and pages of posts on this light but have not been able to find someone to confirm what the best 18650 battery to use in this light is. I've determined that it has to be a 2200 mah or smaller in order for the length to be below 67mm which is the max recommended by Zebralight. I don't want to just poke and hope. I've used Aw's and Redilasts in the larger sizes with success in other lights. Please let me know which 2100 or 2200 batteries that are 67mm or shorter are best, thanks.

I've been using Orbtronic and Xtar 3100mah cells in my SC60. Very snug fit but they work great.

I've used Redilast 2900s in mine and they fit fine. 3400s are generally no bigger. Here's a sure bet, get Eagletac 3400s. They are the shortest and thinnest protected 3400s that I am aware of.

I've got the Redilast 3400 that I use in my 6P projects. When inserted the end of the battery is right up to the end of the body. No room for the spring to collapse and the cap doesn't close all the way which is preventing the light from operating. I'll take a hard look at the Eagletacs. Need one to be less than 37mm. Keep em comin, thanks.

Note: I've found these but they're unprotected. What do you think? They're only 65+mm long. PANASONIC NCR18650A

if you're familiar with li-ion risks you can use unprotected cells : the sc60 has an over discharge protection built-in...

I'm going to have to admit that my knowledge is limited in this area but I see that the sc60 has one of the concerns covered. I'd appreciate additional input, thanks.

I've been using the Orbtronic 3100mAh without any problems. They work pretty well. I'll likely pick up one of those Eagletac 3400's soon though. Not bad pricewise...

ive been using keeppower 3100's no problem on length. The diameter can be snug, some have to be fist pounded to get out
