Re: For sale: "my first Cree MT-G2 flashlight build"

We could use more information, like:

What is the host?
Tail or side switch?
Physical condition of the host?

Thanks.

Re: For sale: "my first Cree MT-G2 flashlight build"

Hi donn,

all infos are to find in original thread- host is an "OEM 2x 26650 flashlight host", I got this one from ebay, some sell it for lots of money under a brands name, switch is a clicky at tailcap, it has tree modes ( http://www.intl-outdoor.com/xml-multicell-circuit-board-35a-ouput-55126v-p-543.html ). The condition this time is like that about 4 months before when I posted the building thread: used for about 5 minutes to take pictures for CPF, since that time not in use- ready to go for a better place to stay... buy it :) !
Thanks, Steffen

Re: For sale: "my first Cree MT-G2 flashlight build" -price drop-

Hi,

The light arrived today, and it was in great shape! Thanks!

Thanks also for including the converter tube for 18650 and the lanyard... very much appreciated :)!

I've tested it with some Efest IMR 18650s, and it's working fine. I also did some tailcap current measurements, and it's reading ~3+ amps!

When I was measuring the current, it looked like it was jumping around, so I was wondering if there's PWM in high mode on the driver that you used?

Thanks again for the light, and for your help. 10 days to the east coast U.S. Not bad :)!!

Later,
Jim
