I have a couple questions about running one of the triple xpg's seen here-
https://illuminationsupply.com/cree...000k-80-cri-3up-315lm-p-136.html#.UYBW9OAX6KU

I have a couple of the 8xamc7135 drivers seen here -
https://illuminationsupply.com/led-...electable-mode-driver-p-142.html#.UYBXu-AX6KU

I am just wondering how to go about wiring it up. Will it work both parallel and in series? Which would be my best option?
Would there be a benefit to using 2 of the drivers together?

I would like to run the leds bright, but with decent battery life off a single 18650.

Any help would be awesome, this is my first go at building a dropin so it is a lot to take in. I have been researching/learning for about a month or so but I am still not confident enough to just start soldering things blindly.

This star can be wired in both parallel & series.
Series:
Driver side led+ to the star + pad &
Driver side led- to the star - pad

Parallel:
You have to remove all the resistors first.
Connect 3 wires to the driver side Led+ & Led-.
Each of this wire will go to the respective star side Led + & -

Btw, if you run these in parallel, with 3A.
You should be getting approximately 1A per emitter. This should be a good balance between brightness & runtime, depending on your batteries.
Alternatively, set your driver to 3 mode (LMH) & use it at medium for extended runtime.

As for using 2 drivers, i can't help much since i haven done that before.
Lets just wait for others to share their experiences.
Cheers.
