Led Lenser X21 leaking battery.

Hey,
The other day i grabed my Led Lenser X21, to discover that it did not turn on, i tried to take out the batteries to exchange them only to find that the one of the D-Cells had blown and corroded the inside of the battery chamber. any suggestions on how to clean this out? and get this one to work again?

Baking soda alternated with pepsi. Most of the crude will come out, then a little toothbrush scrubbing.

Vinegar can help as well and doesn't leave a lot of residue. Either way, dry it really good before installing new batteries.

And invest in good NiMH D batteries such as Tenergy Centura or Premium. This way, you will avoid future problems with leakage. And the light will perform better.

Cheers, i tried to change title butfound no option..
back to point, have sucessfully cleaned out the chamber, light power toggle is no longer work :/. anywhere i can just buy the battery tube and not the light it self? as it works fine.

Contact LED Lenser and ask them about purchasing a replacement. It's not like flashlight manufacturers sell flashlight bodies without heads or tail switches to retailers.
