FS: D36 XM-L2 LightEngine *Withdrawn*
For sale:
Fivemega 3x 18650 Megalennium parallel, converted to serial operation with installed McClicky switch.
Price: 150, 135$SOLD excluding shipping to US
(I live in the Netherlands, Europe).
Shipping to US is 23$ untracked and 32$ tracked.
I dit not have the parallel connector and wanted it to be serial anyway, so I made it myself.
The connectors are not glued, so can be removed without problem. They are marked or notched to put them in correctly (as seen in the picture).
It supports both 18650 IMR cells without protection and AW2600 cells (longer). I do not have 3400 Panasonics to try out, but they will probably fit.
Host was bought but never used, so it is in the original condition. I have no longer plans for it, so it will be sold to free some funds .

Also for sale: D36 XM-L2 U2 4.5A LightEngine
XM-L2 with shaved dome D36 Lightengine 30WITHDRAWN + shipping (6$ to US).
- XM-L2 U2 on Led-tech.de copper PCB (good for 6.5A)
- With 4.5A 12*7135V2 driver.
The plan was to use this Lightengine to replace my 3.9A XM-L2 U2 build, but the XM-L2's higher Vf didn't let me run it at the same high currents for longer periods as the XM-L did, so in reality, it wasn't as bright in the long run. The shaved dome did make the hotspot a tad brighter, but not lifechanging. The runtime however is longer due to the lower drivecurrent .
BUT! If you use this LE with 4*NiMH powering it, it will be a total different story! The above situation is only applicable for 1*18650 operation.
If you are looking for a XM-L2 lightengine for a Fivemega D36 host (the only one I tried) which throws very well, this is one for you! The D36 reflector just rests on top and does not screw down to the LE.
Might also work for P60 and D26 hosts, but I know it is a nice tight fit for the Fivemega D36 hosts (Tested two 1x18650 hosts which are the same).
