I have been running my light on Trustfire 10440 cells charged on a Nitecore charger and it runs awesome, just can be a pain in the butt to get the +/- to line up when closing the battery chamber. I have a Maratac copper I bought through countycomm.com and I dare say the output is WAY better, a tighter throw and no having to crank the head 3 times to get to high mode. I would recommend it to anyone.

Is your SL Microstream fairly new? I have an older one and it doesn't nothing good on a 10440.
Congrats! It's actually not quite as much lumen output as the Maratac but the throw is excellent!

Your video was great. I wonder if the Ultrafire as opposed to the Trustfire 10440's have better extending positive terminals to make it easier on battery swaps. I still have to play around with a combo of my 4 Trustfire's to find one that makes a clean connection. The cells I have are unregulated 600 mAh 3.7V's and I have had no problems other than getting them to initially fire. Once I get a clean connection they work like champs!
