Does anyone has a definitive math for lux increase switching from XM-L to a XP-G2 with a solid mass of heat-sink light? The reflector and lens will be the same.

The light I currently am preparing to mod has 41k lux (manufacturer claim). I measured 2.85a on the tail-end of the light. The guy wants to increase the throw in it and XP-G2 dedomed was what I had in mind without going aspheric.

Same driver, current and power source. I do not have a lux meter so no chance for measurement. I was hoping that someone knows a definitive lux measurement but I know for sure that they change abruptly through different reflectors, lens, placement and fitment of the emitter/mpcb. The joys of an infinite amount of modifications.

Simply de-doming the XM-L T6 cleaned up the nasty rings around the hotspot. Lets hope the XP-G2 de-domed does do the same :D
