I have gotten the chance to buy a EDC-R1B-200. The thing is I have a 6P with a Malkoff M61L HRCI (I think its a XPG), and really love it, but would like something like it in a smaller package (1x 123) with a little more light and rotary control. And the EDC-R1B-200 looks just like what I'm after.

But as I'm not the biggest flashlight-nut I have a hard time comparing the tint of the EDC to my Malkoff. Is the tint close enough for me to like the EDC?

People have been waiting over a year for a rotary. Just noticed that you have a M61 HCRI which is around 3000k. A regular HDS has a cool tint, so that may affect your opinion. HDS does have a HCRI 3700k tint, which I think is great.

The HDS hi cri rotary is a 120 lumens and its a great tint if you like the Malkoff hi cri.
The rotary doesn't have a clip, but have an awesome UI
