Mount for Surefire M6

I want to mount a Surefire M6 in tandem with a spotting scope or camera to observe or photograph at night. I'm am looking for some hardware that attaches to the M6 that would have or would let me tap a 1/4"- 20 hole to take a tripod mount screw.

Any suggestions?

I'm trying to remember if I've ever seen an M6 mounted on a Weapon...

I suggest you call SureFire Tech Support, explain your needs and ask whether the 'straps' of an M13 mount will accept an M6 which I believe is just over 40 mm diameter. The M13 straps will secure round a suppressor up to 1.7" diameter.
On the other end is a 1" diameter ring in which you can clamp a short rod or whatever to tap for the tripod screw

A long long time ago, I think I saw someone mounted one to a Sony camera (F717?). He used a tape switch for activation.

Shelby did it. That was not an M6 but a weapon light which is much more compact.
