Does anyone still make a "custom" replacement LED ring for the Surefire A2 Aviator flashlight?
I know that CPF member calipsoii used to make and sell them, but his sales thread is now closed and there is no certainty that he will offer them again. :mecry:

I'd be interested in one with either a warm or neutral tint, or possibly one with yellow/green output. I don't need it to have multiple modes.

There were only two people that I know of who made aftermarket LED rings for the A2. One of them you mentioned, the other I think made it into the CPF hall of shame.

I'm not aware of anyone currently making them though. The light is sort of considered a classic and so there really isn't much demand for A2 accessories today.

+1 I hope calipsoii does another run

This fella is looking for all three? Does that mean there where three makers?

ive never heard of aviatrix

Koala made a great "onion ring" for the A2 with interchangeable sockets - I currently have a warm white and two cool white LEDs in mine, but can swap them out for green, red, UV, IR, Blue, amber etc and slightly adjust the drive current too

I think it was "AtomicChicken" (I could be wrong) who made the Aviatrix module for the A2, it had multiple modes for the LEDs but he wound up in the "Hall of shame" - I can't remember all the details though, it was a long time ago and I didn't have an A2 then

I have no experience with Calipsoli other than knowing he made A2 Led rings
