As I rebuild the driver in my Olight M31, I can't help but notice the similarity in dimension between the head of the light and a Surefire turbohead. The size of the neck is almost exactly the right size to screw onto a C-body Surefire if the Olight head had internal threads. If I could work out the dimensions, I would actually try taking the head to a machine shop to have it threaded, the goal being to run it on a 3-cell SF body like a Z3.
Can anyone tell me the following:
1) Size of the hole in a Surefire Millenium or KT-series Turbohead?
2) The diameter of the body and the width of a Surefire turbohead lamp module (or the Malkoff equivalent MD60). Maybe I should try to find somebody with a blown MN lamp for a M3T/M4/M6.
Thanks!
