Mine is now just a placekeeper on the flashlight collection shelf. And yeah, it's got a layer (or 2) of dust on it.

I guess you could add an A19 extension and a P60 lamp, but for just a few more $ you could buy a whole 6P (that's what I did : )

I have put a Pyrex bezel (Z44), wrist lanyard and traffic cone on one, for walking at night. The Pyrex lets out more photons, making the traffic cone glow brighter.

Re: Are SF 3P\'s collecting dust?

One of my 3P's wants to be a 9P when it grows up. I have 2 A19 adapters on it with a Z44 bezel and P91 HOLA. It's a real attention getter. I also use a clickie tailcap and lanyard with mine.

One is in my brother-in-law's jacket when he is out on patrol.

The other one I haven't gotten the guts to break the seal. It's new in the sealed box and I had thought I would use it and decided not to open the box.

Beretta, cool! I have a 92F SS. I just love it! Fun to shoot and completely reliable.

Re: Are SF 3P\'s collecting dust?

I'm a newbie on this forum as well. A big fan of Surefire flashlights, I am desperately seeking the following: 3P's and 6P's (original round-handled versions, not the newer ones with the anti-roll bezel and flat sides for the nameplate). If you have any you'd like to sell, or know where I can go to get them, please contact me! Thanks!

I believe the 3P is 20 lumen while the e1/e1e is 15 lumen. The size of the e-series and the clip make it much more desirable (at least it does to me : )

Re: Are SF 3P\'s collecting dust?

Recently I received a Surefire 3P in GREEN as a gift (it is like new in the box in excellent condition).

How many of the GREEN 3P's were made?

When were they made (i.e. what year)?

What is the value of a mint condition GREEN 3P with the original box/papers?

Thanks.

It is about five years old and should be worth about $55 to $70.

Re: Are SF 3P\'s collecting dust?

Awhile back, I called SureFire and told them I was looking for some 3R batteries. They had two left and sent them to me free. I was playing around with 3R bulbs, and managed to modify a 6P to run the 3R batteries, and 3R bulb. Has anyone seen a 3R SureFire?

Yup...my 3R is a 6P with that little battery stick and an R30 lamp.

dano, how do you charge your 3R. Do you have one of the original 3R chargers? I would like to have one.
