Does anyone know if there are rechargeables that will fit this little sucker?
I have tried 2 kinds without success.
Ultrafire 16340 seems a wee bit long for the case. (X2)
Trustfire 18650 too fat.

my old Jetbeam PC20 not compatible with 18650 batteries (too fat), but working excellent with Keeppower 16650, 2000mAh (Sanyo UR16650ZT cell, Japan IC) this battery is better, higher capacity than 17670 models.

As far as I know, the PD30 only support CR123a batteries when I first saw it on the web.

Use 16340 cells at your own risk. It was meant for CR123A primary cells. It will work with 2 x AW 16340, but you run the risk of frying the circuit.

A single AW 17670 will work. You may need to take off the sticker to make it fit onto the tube. It's a bit of a tight fit.
