SOLD-

Show to the left , The gold Mag 1C host is made by Modamag, Custom grooves & Golden coated with TiCN not sure if spelled correctly, which is know for its golden color and surface hardness and chemical resistance.

This a special host as I don't think there's be more custom modamag coating runs after last fiasco and delay & wait time over a year etc.

The battery adaptor is white & made by Modamag, included, for 1x18650 use.
He machined a nice o-ring groove, so the adaptor fits snug, no rattling.

The Led is Illumination Supply Tint 3B XPG2, sweet neutral

It's bare led that I re-flowed directly to Copper sink pad, where led is directly solder to copper, the best PCB design for heat transfer and allow high current draw efficiently from led, allowing XPG 2 to be driven to almost 3 Amp.

The Driver is illumination supply 8x7135 2.8 Amp XML driver, over drive the XPG 2 to similar lumens as XML2 but higher throw because of smaller Die.

Driver configured to 3 mode low-med-high, no blinky or disco

The heat sink is H22A HAIII heat-sink for mag C, with top sanded flat so that I can mount the copper sink pad.

The Reflector is aluminum LOP, aluminum rather than plastic, will not melt and helps with heat sinking. It throw well and gives a perfect beam, by perfect beam I mean McGizmo PD level of beam quality but many times more brightness.

The tail cap is modified to recess the spring, making the 1C shorter than if using mag stock tail

Teflon sleeve silver coated copper core wires for high current use

The light has doom intact, perserve max lumens while providing throw

Asking only $149
S&H $10 in the USA

Re: XPG2 on Copper Sinkpad Modamag custom 1D Golden Mag shorty

Note, the picture make it look like scratches on the head, it's NOT,
they are reflection from the baby elephant next to it.

There is a very thin hairline somewhere on the head, it was how I received it from modamag,
but so thin and not visible from photos. I did not introduce new scratches .

Is it a C or a D?
Title says D.
Details say C sink and "makes the 1C.."
I'm leaning towards C. Hard to tell next to your mods.

If it's C, I'll take it.Shipping to Australia. I'll PM.

It is very confusing next to other mods :)
I'm confident now it's a C.

Look at the space above knurling on the tailcap. Identifies it as a C. That would be a standadr D tailcap next to it, much less space above knurling (and under knurling)
Usually shape of head is more obvious,

On second thought, I think you're right about it being a C...and if so, congrats on the pickup! Very cool light.

It gets more confusing.
Original sales thread with multiple lights says:
"Golden Mag 1C/XML. A modmag custom TiNi Gold host, H22a HS, 3 mode 7135 2.8A driver XML neutral, metal OP reflector, UCL glass, runs on single Single 18650"

Anyway, I'll wait for ma sha1, that might be different light.

It's 1 C, I cut & pasted a similar thread I just sold a 1D,
to save myself some typing, made this silly mistake. It's 1C, lol.
