Quick Review of the Nitepalm PC8 :duh2:
I have used the PC8 for 2 years now and it is a very unique light. it is designed specifically for Police use but i suppose it can be used as a hazard light, it is an extremley versatile lighting device. It can be seen from over 1 mile away which is especially good for working on busy dark roads to warn vehicles of your presence. It has a very simple UI:
White button (left side)
press and hold cycles through modes- white low mode- white high mode - white/blue high mode - white strobe mode
Blue button (right side)
press and hold cycles through modes - red mode - blue mode - flashing red and blue strobe mode
It is Strong, compact, and lightweight, the 8 bright LED's in White, Red, and Blue deliver 7 lighting functions.
The PC8 is an incredibly powerful lighting resource suitable for any emergency situation.
Up to 160 hours of continuous light output powered by only 3 AA batteries.
White low beam -For general close up work, map and document reading
White high beam -For local area, vehicle and room searches
White/Blue beam -For rural and wide area searching
White strobe -For emergency location by Air Support Units and increased visibility (obviously picture doesn't show strobe flashing)
Red high beam -2 LED output for night vision retention
Blue high beam -2 LED output for location, searches and forensics.
Red/blue rapid strobe -6hz emergency warning signal for officer safety and traffic duties/RTC's.

-Eight super high intensity LED's (100,000hrs)
