HDS Systems question/problem

I have a HDS Flashlight, An EDC clicky, and when I try to reset to factory settings it goes into flash mode and cannot be switched off until I take the battery out. I've tried different batteries. I have another HDS flashlight and I can reset that no problems so nothing is amiss with my method.

The light works fine it just can't be reset. I press the clicky in while the 7 second reset light is on and after shining for a while it just begins to flash. As I said, then it can't be turned off until I take the battery out again.

Anyone advise?

Thanks in advance.

Just to make this a bit clearer - I have noticed the flashing looks like morse code, it's a series of longer flashes and shorter ones.

This only happens when you try and perform a reset? It could be a firmware bug which plagued some early runs of the most recent HDS lights (the ones with the ACME threads). You'll need to send it to HDS for a firmware update.

Yes, only when I try to do a reset.

I have emailed HDS about it.

Thanks for replying.
