E2C Options?

Hi,
I have ordered one of DSpecks E2C adaptors. My original plan was to run a KL5 on one of my E2 bodies ( or a McLux 2x123 pack).

I have been a bit disappointed with the preliminary reports of the KL5 performance. In addition I have recently obtained a 5W 700ma McLux-PR and a "3W" 917ma McLux-PR so my desire for the KL5 has abated.

Would a KT2 Turbo head + 3x123 McLux pack + E2C work?
( 120 lumens!)

I am open for suggestions for how to use the E2C adaptor...

IMO, the L5 is probably more impressive than you've read. I read a few reviews about the L6 and was kind of worried because I had preordered it and it was already on its way to me. However, I received it today and even in the daylight, it exceeded my expectations.

I say give the KL5 a shot and if you don't like it, you can always re-sell it here on CPF and get back the majority of what you spent.

*Edit* I forgot to put this in my original post, but it might be helpful to let us know what your intended uses for this light will be so others can help out more easily.
