I recently bought an XM-L2 from Fasttech, just the led, no driver, my question is can I just desolder the LED on the Streamlight TL-2X and then resolder the XM-L2 back on? Using the same driver that was in there? I am not sure what LED the light came with, but its not that bright, its rated 200 lumens and its 3 mode, high, low, and strobe. I use an AW 17670 if it matters. If this is a stupid question, please go easy on me, this will be the first modification I have ever done.
