I have a PM6 mod, and a few PR Mclux mods.

I am wanting the option of a nice SMOOTH flood beam.

I heard rumors of a bead blasted PR reflector.
Is there such a thing?

What would be the best solution? Bead Blasted, white paint? Both?

I want something as effecient as possible.

beadblasting or white isn't as effient as polished, but it will provide a smoother beam.

don has beadblasted reflectors before, but that's something most of us can't do /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/frown.gif

i've considred making a superflood reflector with the same outer dimensions as the m6 reflector, but machined flat inside with flat beveled walls, like the mcflood. when my workload clears up i may try it.

if you're going to modify a m6 reflector, i think white paint would probably be the best solution.
