ID this KL4 Head

I recently started getting into flashlights again, and went back to CPF and realized I hadn't logged in for almost 9 years. HA!
I used to follow Surefire very closely, and traded a number of L4 models (my favorite at the time)
I know Surefire has likely upgraded their KL4 head since then; can anyone age-date this HEAD/Light, and tell me if they were likely sold together, as well as the lumen rating? Thanks

Another questions--This light gets so hot I can't hold it, and it can actually cause burns after being on for about 10-15 minutes. Is this something wrong with my light?

Haha. Looks like im not the only person burning their hands. Do you know what the lumen output is on the "A" prefix KL4 head? I'm also curious if you know what year this A prefix came out and when it was changed. thansk

To be 100% sure which one you have, just compare to pics of the LEDs... however, if it IS getting hot while lit, then it's definitely Lux-V version, old one with 100 lumens and capable of running on 1xCR123 (also was called "TW4" down the time as it was offered by Tactical Warehouse as complete setup)...

When the batteries are low and I stare at the emitter I can see it separated into quadrants.
