Flashlight in the 90's

I just saw this clip of F1 operations in the early 90's and at 3.23 one of the engineer pull out what appears to be a CPF worthy flashlight, the beam looks blue-ish, but there's no LED that powerful then, so either a lens or HID? light F1 teams uses pretty advanced tech but flashlight too?

It's a 90's F1 car, but the video was filmed well after, one of the givaways is when they refer to one of the computers needed to work on the electronics as a "period laptop".
