Will aThrunite TN12 accept the longer 18650 batteries?

An internet buddy has one and is considering 18650 batteries for this light.
Suggesting any from the protected Panasonic NCR18650 genre is easy but this run long and I do not want to suggest him batteries that will not fit (being too long)

What have been your experiences?

I used to have a TN12 and used AW3100's in it with no problem at all, plenty of room. These are NCR18650A based cells, so I think that your friend will do just fine with that battery choice.

I've tested with AW, Redilast 2900mAh and Intl-outdoor's NCR18650 34000mAH without any issue.

Keeppower 3100mAh also fit. Although a little fat, a little shake gets them out OK.

the generic protected cells (ncr18650 2900 based) from fasttech/dx fits fine.
