Vinh is very quick. I open the front door today and the K40 was sitting on my porch. I compared this K40 to the TN31 he did for me and my son and I both think the K40 is brighter on a wall. We shall see later tonight how it does in throw against the Vinh TN31. Here's some photos for you to enjoy.

Wow TN31 looks a lot brighter..... great shots, thanks for the work. turning the ISO down really shows the difference in intensity.

Yes the TN31 wins. But that is only due to the wider and deeper reflector. I would still rather have the K40 myself. It's a lot lighter and less to pack and it throws about as good.

These deer interrupted my beamshots. This is the K40.

pretty awesome! both are super throwers! I have the Olight SR95S-UT SBT-70. Does it compare to one of his TN31's?

No. The TN31 that Vinh does is right at 500K. No production bought Olight will touch it.

I too just received a modded K40 from Vinh. It's really incredible. I debated sending him a TN31 to mod by the K40's compact size is really what sealed the deal. And the pricing Vinh offered was really unbeatable. I regret nothing!

That UT would be less than half the cd of the K40, and the K40 has less cd than the TN31.

Cant wait till mime comes. This is going to be lots of fun this fall when the air is crystal clear at night. I have a place to play with it away from light pollution, very dark wide open spaces.
