Will running a 18650 in my Fenix PD32 change the output settings?

From what I have read and understand so far about running a 18650 (fenix brand) in my Fenix PD32 I will get increased run time, but how will it effect the output settings?

On a side note I just got the PD32 the other day and that night we had a power outage for about a hour. What a enjoyable way to test out a new flashlight. :D

I kept hearing, "that's to bright!", lol... love it!

The only thing I'll add is in regards to temperature. Last winter I was surprised to see the two highest levels on my PD32UE to be the same with an 18650. It was kept in a cold car, so that's why. When I put in two CR123s the modes were fine. I now only use CR123 primary batteries in the "car" light, even though I never liked them. I don't use it often so it just makes sense. Rechargeables in all my other lights.

Just out of curiosity I have tried putting 2xCR123 and 18650 in two different PD31 and I did perceive any difference in brightness.
The light where I noticed a difference is the Fenix PD30: with 2xCR123 it is visibly brigher than with a 17670.
