Hi all.

Is it possible to "series or parallel" circuit two drivers together to double the amp output?
Say 2 drivers at 2amps each to get 4 amps.

I know it is a law of diminishing returns for the lumen output and I have seen the graph here......

http://www.candlepowerforums.com/vb...max-achievable-lumens-from-a-CREE-XM-L-T6-LED.

Also I am running An XML T6 off a trustfire Li Io battery 3.7volt with no driver. Out of interest, what kind of amps would this be drawing?

Thanks in advance.

you can run in parallel, but not in series, i mean you can drive inputs in series, but not outputs.

direct drive depends a lot on battery you use. some chap cells wont put out 3 amps. fully charged, other can do 4+amps. also don't forget resistance on springs, and switches, and even thin wires can add resistance and drop amps. no one will tell you exactly how much your set up will pull, too many varuables, you will have to try and mesure to see for sure.

Also, it's difficult to measure without reducing the current!

What driver are you looking at? Some can be paralleled, some can't.
