How do you pronounce "Nichia"?

I've always said Nick-ee-ah. Well, in my head anyway, I don't know that I've ever had cause to say it out loud! Interesting to see how it should be pronounced though, it does sound more Japanese with the 'ch' instead of 'k' I must admit. Thanks, Matt

I always said Ny-key-ya but ni-chee-ya does sound more likely now that I think of it.

Even though I took a few Japanese courses many years ago and vaguely know the proper pronunciation of Japanese syllables, I've always said Ni-key-ah... in my head anyway - I may have spoken the world perhaps a half-dozen times in conversation.
