Thrunite TN30 in cardboard box?

I thought the TN30 came in a metal type case? Needless to say I was a bit disappointed when mine came in a cardboard box this morning. It's not the end of the world as I bought it for the light, but still it was a bit of a let down.
I bought it through the store so maybe their cutting costs? Or did I miss the other posts about coming in cardboard now?

The metal box is no big deal for me I throw it away the day I got the light.

Are you kidding us?

I have quite few larger Thrunite lights like original TN31s, a TN30, a first generation OSTS (Onestopthrowshop) modded TN31 and the OSTS TN31mb.

All came with cases.

Is Thrunite going that bad that the metal boxes are breaking the bank?
