Any decent well-made light should be expected to p these kinds of things. The fact that this is news is a sad report on the state of flashlights today. I for one, am very pleased with my Olight, but I do not think I would dive with it.

Last month, while driving my car, on the way to the store, I saw a light shining in an intersection. On the way back home, I stopped to investigate, and picked up a
Rayovac VBMET-B 1AA Bullet Flashlight. They currently sell for $4-$8. It had obviously been run over a number of times, and ground into the pavement. The body is misshapen, and the lens is foggy in one area, (like it has a cataract), the tail-cap won't come off, but the head will, (so I can replace the battery) and the switch is a little temperamental, but the darn thing still works!
