But it is not a flashlight first by design! Its main purpose in life is to be a portable battery pack. I just picked up one of these and the LED flashlight built into it is actually pretty bright (probably 10-20 lumens) and good enough to light your way around a dark house. The specifications do not say how much current the light drains, but the relatively low output combined with a 15000 mAh battery pack might just make this thing run forever! Could any of you out there take a guess on how much current the LED could be drawing from something like this? Here is a link to it so you can get a better idea of what I am talking about. http://www.ianker.com/product/79AN15K-WA

It's a 5mm LED, so most likely 20mA. Where the LED is drawing the current from is the question though, and the circuit that is driving it. I imagine it isn't a resistor in series.

That's pretty cool. I might just pick one of those up but not for the light.

I also don't want to crash your party but even with the 15000mAh battery, I doubt it will beat the Armytek!

Yep, it lasted 120 days.. AND THEN SOME MORE!!

I did not get it just for the light, but I will say if it did not have one, I probably would not have bought it! It was an impulse buy that probably will get little use . I also think it is cool and that is probably my main motivation for getting it. I have been following that Armytek thread and that is pretty impressive!
