Modded 2C Mag

I modded my 2C Mag 2 days ago and was (and still am) very impressed by the results. Upon taking it outside for some testing, it was amazing how far the beam throws and how bright it is even at long distances.

Last night, I showed my dad and he told me to do one for him as soon as I could, lol. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cool.gif

I can't believe you guys don't know about the famous Mag 2C 3x123 KPR112 modification.

well, modded Mag 2C suggest 2 possibilities, out of many.
1. Modded to run KPR bulb like yours
2. Modded to run lux 5W, like charlie's mod SN2.

the rest are:
use DB, everled, run Helios, etc.

I modded (improved is probably a better word since nothing was actually modded) the 2C with the Radio Shack KPR112 bulb and 3x123's.

For those of you who haven't done it yet, do it. It's a very inexpensive mod (just less than $20 for the 2C Mag and KPR112 bulb) and the results are great. Might want to keep several extra KPR112's handy just in case because it's being overdriven by quite a bit.

I got the KPR 112's at Radio Shack.
