Does anyone know if a KX9 TIR head will fit on a G2 body?

Does anyone know if the Standard 500lumen KX9 TIR Head will attach to a G2 body? same thread as the KX4 head? Thx for any tech info

The KX9 is a direct replacement for M series lights. Definitely not the same threads of the KX4, which is for C,P,G,Z, ...anything that takes a Z44 bezel.
A "C" to "M" adapter is made by Lumens Factory and I think they are available at Lighthound, should work.
I don't know if you'll have thermal issues with a Nitrolon body, the KX9 is a substantially sized head and may deal with heat fine.
A CPF google for "C" to "M" adapter brings up a lot of hits, check it out.
Don't take my word as gospel, there are members far more qualified than I on the subject of SureFire!
