new/old surefire model 675 L60 lamp module

so, picked this up today. Says model 675 weapon light, with a L60 Lamp module host. took the [birth]day off, and saw this buried in the bottom of the display case at the only local gun shop. the "Laser Products" on the Surefire box -- caught my attention. I guess im a fan of the older surefire's...got an E2e and C3 must have been a decade ago, and Ive never seen these older ones for sale. but...all new packaging. Most likely, gonna use it. I opened up the packaging of the body, couldnt resist, but havent touched the rest yet. I dig the 'Laser Products' on the tail cap. Guy at the shop tried to talk me into a Fury instead of this.

I'm guessing that Surfire must have cleaned out a wharehouse or old stock because Ebay has had a bunch of that older stuff show up for that last 3 or 4 months. I got 660 w/o the box but it as in almost perfect shape. And cheap!

ya the shop, Martin B. Redding in west Los Angeles...they used to have a pretty decent light selection. I got my Novatac back there in like 2007; there was some alright diversity with good stuff. It's primarily a gun store, but lotta nice knives and really the only place on the westside that has some real lights. but...over the last few years, less and less. The stock nowadays is pretty cleaned out. They do have lotta new surefires and a ton of the gun lights, but not much else. [they have a surefire beast sitting around which is awesome if you never seen in person..like thor's hammer] This box was dusty. Pretty sure it was there for awhile. Would not have purchased in the past, but I think now, its a pretty cool host.
