battery rattling around in my M3

Hello,

I have an older M3 with the round bezel and the batteries seem to rattle around a bit inside the flashlight. Is this normal and what can I do to stop the rattle? Thanks.

Some batts are slimmer than others. I have SF123s wrapped in a layer of paper in my M3 to quell the rattle. I used magazine page paper.
If you want to spend the bucks you can get a battery stick from SF......

Would the heat come from the batteries or from the LA?

Wouldn't paper act as a insulator for heat? My M3 gets too hot to hold if left on long enough.

A little judiciously applied Scotch tape, applied to sides of battery, works well to eliminate rattles.
