Hi,

Up for sale here is one very first Black Bullet aspheric thrower ever made, by German CPF member mash.m. Some of you might recall his original build thread here http://www.candlepowerforums.com/vb...er-Thrower-gt-500KLux-Sales-Thread&highlight= It has the following specifications/features.

-78mm Glass aspheric lens
-XM-L2 U2 1C dedomed using solvents (no scratched phosphor)
-4.2A drive current, with a lower mode as well
-Solid custom made copper heatsink, on a copper star
-4 AA battery carrier with solid copper battery contacts and bored body tube
-Around 500K lux measured at at least 10m

The original price was $264 with the bored body, i want to make a quick sale in case i regret it so $150 shipped within Australia, international at $10 extra. As always, first 'I'll take it' on this thread secures the light, please feel free if there are any questions.

This thing should be bumbed to 5 -6 amps. It would be a real beast then

Light is sold to jaybiz32, thanks CPF! The difference between 4.2A and 6A is marginal on anything that isn't direct to copper, and even then gains are not apparent, the heat however make itself known to you by burning your fingers faster.

I have an xvn(modded bkfao1)drivin to 4.5a and a tn31vn driving 6.5a both on copper and the extra 2 amps really makes a big difference in output. Bu i will say the control ring on my tn31vn got to 127 degrees while only 104 degrees on my xvn.(tested with a infrared thermometer )Pros and cons i guess. I could not even hold the tn31vn at 10 min it was very hot
