Nitecore says it's "suitable for all flashlights" Some pictures actually show it being applied to orings. The description at Goinggear reads, " Lubricating silicon grease for extending the life of electrical contacts and lubricating surfaces that are conductive." If it's really just silicon grease, it should be fine. I used plain, silicon grease for a long time before Nyogel and it seemed to do the job without swelling orings like petroleum does.

Yuo thx I thought it would be, it can be used on most things, I used it on the D40A no problems and my led lensers just was not sure on plights oring made from I think it will be fine (only orings I can't use it on are silicone orings as it makes them swell up I think??)

Edit: threads are smooth like butter now.

I've been using SG7 for a while. Seems to work very well. haven't noticed any O ring problems so far.
