What lamp size comes with a surefire G2X tactical light?

Hey guys...bought this light for my son for christmas and want to pick up the surefire battery/lamp case for him also but need to know weather or not I need the short case or long case...and dont want to open up the package?
Yes...I look everywhere for the info.

If you had a G2 I would have suggested the SC1 since that light uses a P60. The G2X, however, does not use a drop in. It is a solid head where the changng the LED would require a mod as opposed to popping in a replacement P60.
The SC1 carrier would still come in handy for batteries anyway.

So its useless to get the sc1 or sc2 to keep a extra lamp like the one the g2x come with?
Im getting one for the batteries....but if one of the cases does fit a lamp for it is a extra win.

I would not worry about having a spare G2X head on hand. It is better, in both cost and convenience, to simply have a second (or third, or fourth) light on hand.
