Looks like the ZebraLight SC62 info may or may not be released any time soon, Vinhn announced an excellent 1X18650 thrower (EagTac) but it's not for me. The Fraz has a promising QTC 1X18650 planned for 2014 BUT my elderly mother asked me for a better flashlight so I sent her an SC52 XML cool white. (Let's see if she complains about the green tint)

SO, the two choices are SC600w L2 or the H600w L2. I almost always have the torch on a headstrap. The H600 weighs about half (no battery) of an SC600. Does that extra weight make the SC600 MUCH better at handling the heat dissipation? If I do get an SC600 it will be kept mounted in a NiteIze headstrap (slightly modified).

What do you think? (Just about) any comments are welcome. After searching for quite some time I see no other flashlights meeting the need. (Need more runtime than the SC52 offers, need a switch that is easy to find (advantage H600), love the ZL user interface, love moonlight mode)

Will the extra aluminum offer significantly better high output performance?
