FOR SALE: Standard McLux EN Head, Lux III TWAK (typical LuxIII, very white, consistent tint from hotspot to corona), DB700 in an ecan, NX-05 optics. Head only, you supply 2x123 or 3x123 body. Works fine with Surfire E2/E2e, but looks funny. The emitter is centered with the little board intended for use with the PR head and McModule (just a little filing makes it fit). This head has about 30 minutes of runtime on it to thouroughly test it, but hasn't been carried outside of my house.
If you already have a 5-watt 2x123 or 3x123 McLux, this is a great 2nd head with more runtime.
The Beamshot:
1x123/BB500 on the left, 2x123/DB700 (the very head you're buying) on the right, both TWAK emitters, both with NX-05 optics. They look a little off center because they are pointed in towards each other, slightly off of a true perpendicular-to-the-wall line.
I just realized that an EN head is significantly more expensive to build than a PR head... the PR comes with the reflector, ecan, and PR board, and the EN head doesn't, and the EN head costs $10 more, even on sale. Plus the PR head is much easier to work on, as it's bigger.
