TAD Gear 3x123 powerpack anyone used on mclux?

Hi guys, i just purchased this powerpack from battery station but cant get it to work with the mclux, i measured the thread length and they are identical so cant figure out why its not making the light turn on, unfortunately i dont have a kl1 unit to test it yet, anyone else having this problem?
i must say this powerpack is so light, and i like the colour.

I think some of the McLux TK's had a bug where the threading wasn't quite correct. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/frown.gif

hmmm, well, other options are open, kl1 or kl4 (with dummy cell) or have my own e2e with dummy cell
hmmm, well, just did a test with two of my mclux pr, one of them lights up constantly and the other doesnt light up at all, i think its to do with the ecan, because the inside of the tad gear is not anodized, if the ecan is touching the inside diameter of the powerpack it lights up instantly.
i think the kl1 has a delrin collar which obviously would not complete the circuit. mclux tk still doesnt work, gonna have to look at a fix
