My friend brought a X21, he's obviously not that happy with the lack of regulation since comparing it to a few of my regulated lights. Does anyone have any suggestions for drive. I tried 1 I had for a sst 90 from intl outdoors it was a 5.5 -12v 9 amp. But it won't seem to work. The thermal protection keeps coming on. Boulder it just be better to direct drive with d cell nimh.
