Noup, one of the guys got a Sony he always carries with him. He just emailed me the pics from a fire we had this morning, and I came across this pic of myself using L6. Figure post it here...

OK.

Firefighting 101.
Drywall does not burn. Fire travels inside walls(studs do burn). To put a fire out you must "open" the wall/ceiling, that is where the axe come to use. After the fire is out, you do "overhaul" - making sure that the fire did not spread and is not somewhere in the dormant/backdraft stage.

In this case, fire was inside the ceiling, and that hole was not burned, but cut(drywall ripped down), and fire was put out.

Fire started in the kitchen, and burned it's way into the bathroom above, and bedroom beside bathroom.

Give me a few, and I'll post few more pics...

I was wondering as far as arson investigation is concerned, do you find the L6 more useful than its incan counterpart (ie. M3 and M3T)? The question is inspired by another thread that involves CSI (the TV series) discussion.

Sorry, we don't do arson investigations. State police fire marshal does that.

During overhaul, for some reason, smoke is MUCH more visible in L6's beam. (Not heavy smoke, but scattered, lingering smoke.)

BTW, CSI is crap. How can yountz even watch it???

I watch CSI and CSI Miami only to investigate the amount of silicon involved...

I thought people watched "Baywatch" for that same reason.

Nice pics of you FC and always interesting reading FC's fire tips.

Cool pictures FC, it's good to see a Surefire getting some real use.

Blinded: That's close the the price of some Surefires... /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/icon3.gif
