I've done a little searching around but did not find anything. Does anyone know of a P60 drop in module that includes Li-ion protection for discharge voltage? I know that I could simply watch for dimming as they go out of regulation, but this would be for someone other than myself to use and I'm not confident they would not continue use during the dimming since it can be a subtle effect over time. I prefer using unprotected cells because I know the light will be bounced around a lot and I don't trust the positive strip not to wear through the shrink wrap over time resulting in a short. So, to the original question, I'd like to find a module that cuts off at 2.7ish volts.

Most P60 drop-ins that are made by Nailbender, or Vinhnguyen54 will use the typical AMC7135 driver and those drivers do have a voltage cutoff of around 2.8v. I would start there. They will be able to answer any questions you might have with regards to protection, modes, runtimes, etc.
