SF 6P / G2 lenses - factory LED comes with "diffuser" lens?

Hi -- I have a 4 year old SF G2 LED and a brand new 6P incan. The G2 LED, show on right with a P60 incan installed, came new with what I would call a semi-frosted or diffuser lens. The new 6P lens arrived crystal clear. Normal? Thanks.

PS: 6P is getting a Malkoff which is in the mail, G2 is getting its OEM LED back. 6P feels SO much nicer.

do you think it might be heat damage?

What Malkoff are you getting for your 6p ? I just got a 61WL for my old G2. Very nice beam / battery life upgrade. Cant comment about the frosted lens but maybe a call to Surefire may offer a replacement/explaination. Jay
