So I just got my quark mini 123 titanium version in and it will not function properly. It always stays in high mode and will not switch back to low when I shut it off and to shut it off I have to take the battery completely out of it. I'm new to flashlights and I would love any help I could get.

First of all, welcome to the forum!
Second, two suggestions:

2) Given that the light is new and covered by a 10 year warranty, I would be quick to call FourSevens to arrange sending the light back to let them deal with it.

I told them my problem and I got it fixed right away. They are probably the best customer service I've ever experience. The guy told me the problem was a piece of debris was shorting out the circuit on the contacts in the emitter head. I ran a qtip through there and it works flawless now.
