Princeton Tec Point (hat clip light) -- Waterproof?

Purchased this little light on-line, where it was described as waterproof. Packaging says "water resistant, but does not specify depth/time or rating. I want the light for adventure racing and long distance paddling. I don't expect it to be a dive light, but it needs to be able to survive a dunking to be useful to me. Anyone familiar with it? Any other observations about it appreciate. I know it is not a powerful light. I want it as a way to see gear and maps/charts without blinding myself or teammates. Thanks for any info.
