Well, I took some advice from here and to try and grab an unfocused high powered red laser for spotting. It's great with how small the laser is, and it is indeed powerful. Hard to get some good shots of the beam. I tried to get a few tonight and what I did was walked out to where I had my brother shine it, then take pictuers from a closer distance. This simulates using a scope. I had trouble taking pictures through the scope. I'm working on a pressure switch to fully use the duty cycle easily (60s on, 60s off). The distance pictured is 75 yards. I'm curious as to how bright it looks as it comes from the laser at this focus. I'm not going to look at it obviously, but maybe I'll set up a camera to take a picture. I'm curious for spooking animals. That's the reason for red. Does this have to be posted in lasers? Or is there another place since it isn't being used for what a laser is traditionally?
