Nitecore SRT7 step down @ 20 minutes. written on the Users manual.

hello just got my SRT7 after reading the user manual it says 20 minutes the light will step down? other users said it will step down @ 6 minutes.
Patriot26 review dosen't step down can anyone clear this for me? thanks

Both statements of the SRT7 stepdown is correct. It first slowly fades steps down from Highest mode down to a lower mode over 6 minutes. The fading stepdown is only visible if you point the beam to the wall and staring at it. It is then stabile and maintains the same level for another 14 minutes before it steps down again.The second stepdown is abrupt and is clearly visible. So the SRT7 has a 20 minutes stepdown feature, but it is divided in two parts.
