Surefire L1 Digital LED color change

Gentlemen, I have a Surefire L1 Digital LumaMax.

It has the blue colored LED.

I would like to find a white LED for it. Did Surefire ever sell them as an accessory? And if so who might have one.

Or is there any after market white LED that will fit without any modifications to the flashlight.

That won't be easy because they don't make the L1 anymore. As far as I know they never just sold the head with the led of your choice. You might find one on ebay or on the marketplace here but that's about your only option. Unless you send it to someone to physically take yours apart and change the led.

Sean is correct. Surefire never sold the L1 heads separately. You'll have to change the LED yourself or have someone mod the light for you.

Have you tried calling Surefire? They might be able to help.
