Tried a search but could not find an answer.

I'm looking for 26 AWG bonded stranded wire (both leads connected to one another). Finding a source for that is step 1. Step 2 is finding one with the thinnest OD possible.

Unfortunately the application requires that the wires be connected to one another.

Thanks for any and all help.

When you say you are looking for 26 AWG stranded bonded connected, do you mean standard zip cord type wire connected at each end, or two 26 AWG stranded wires wrapped around each other inside a single insulation? Makes a difference.

A third choice would be the scheme used in CAT5/5e cabling. Each wire is individually insulated, but the two wires in a color coded pair are twisted around each other at a certain number of turns per foot. http://www.belden.com/products/cata...Special-Application-Cables-1-1MB-15-70_82.pdf

Go online to www.belden.com and search for zipcoard. Really about any length you might want.

Thank you for the recommendation. Believe it or not (and I feel really dumb about this) but I can't seem to find any 26 AWG zip cord in their catalogues.

If you happen to have a link, I'd be very appreciative.

Thanks

After an exhaustive search, I spent some time on the phone with Belden this AM and am told they have a solution.

For anyone that may dig this thread up in the future:

Smallest bonded or zip cord style wire they make is 24 AWG and it's dimensions are .058" x .115". Part number 8782.
